About
Vigorous, broad-spreading, deciduous tree, to 12m tall, with oval, mid-green leaves up to 25cm long. As the leaves open, in mid- to late spring, it produces very large, erect, cup-shaped flowers, up to 35cm across, soft pink outside, white inside, and produced abundantly from a young age.
