About
Deciduous, conical tree, about 10m tall, with oval leaves up to 20cm long. In early spring it produces very large, cup-shaped, white flowers, up to 30cm across, with 9 to 12 petals, flushed-pink at the base.

CultivationGrow in moist but well-drained neutral to acid soil in full sun or part shade with shelter from cold winds. Late frosts may damage flower buds and/or flowers. See magnolia cultivation
