Lysimachia nummularia, creeping Jenny, is a vigorous, mat-forming, hairless perennial with procumbent stems bearing pairs of ovate to heart-shaped leaves that sometimes show black gland markings. Bright-yellow, five-lobed flowers are borne in the leaf axils in summer. An excellent and fast-spreading ground-cover for a moist, shaded or sunny position.
