A compact, small Primula (buryana group) from high-altitude habitats in China with a basal rosette of small, rounded, dark green leaves and short, erect stems bearing umbels of small, pale lilac flowers in spring. A delicate and refined alpine Primula for a cool, moist, shaded rock garden or peat bed.
