About
Loropetalum chinense, the Chinese witch hazel, is an evergreen shrub 23 m high with a spreading habit and rough, oval, dark-green leaves. Scented, tassel-like, white flowers with long, narrow, strap-shaped petals reminiscent of its witch hazel relatives are produced in late winter and early spring.
