About
A tall, clump-forming, deciduous perennial delphinium to about 1m tall from the alpine meadows and streamsides of the Himalaya, with deeply palmate, mid-green leaves and erect, slender racemes of large, five-petalled, deep blue or blue-violet flowers with contrasting inner petals in summer. A bold and striking species delphinium for a moist, sheltered, well-drained border.

Lonicera can be deciduous and evergreen shrubs, or climbers with twining stems. The tubular or two-lipped flowers, often very fragrant, are followed by red or black berries
