About

Lonicera quinquelocularis, the translucent honeysuckle, is a large shrub or small tree to 5 m with very downy, purplish stems and downy, oval, green leaves. Abundant clusters of two-lipped, cream flowers ageing to golden yellow are produced in early summer, followed by unusual translucent-white, rounded berries a distinctive and ornamental large honeysuckle for a sunny border.
