About
Lonicera periclymenum, the common honeysuckle or woodbine, is a vigorous, twining, woody, deciduous climber to 7 m with paired, oval, mid-green leaves, greyish beneath. Very perfumed, two-lipped, tubular, white to creamy-white flowers � flushed reddish-purple outside � 5 cm long open in mid and late summer, followed by clusters of glossy red berries. One of the most beloved of all native climbing plants for a wildlife garden, pergola or woodland edge.
