About
This clump-forming, herbaceous perennial with large, heart-shaped, mid-green, leaves and toothed margins. In late spring/early summer, narrow spires of yellow-orange, spider-shaped flowers are borne on black-purple, wand-like stems. These open sequentially from the lowest upwards. Height around 1m (3.2ft).
