A variety (Aurea) of the Queen Cattleya from Colombia with deeply golden-yellow (aurea) petals and a rich, dark purple labellum, borne on tall, erect spikes above club-shaped pseudobulbs. One of the most prized Cattleya selections for warm, humid glasshouse cultivation.
