About
Kniphofia linearifolia, the narrow-leaved red-hot poker, is a clump-forming perennial to 1.5 m with untidy clumps of long, narrow leaves to 1.4 m long and 3 cm wide. Large, oblong heads of flowers are borne on tall spikes from summer into autumn � reddish-orange buds opening to greenish-yellow flowers. A bold and distinctive red-hot poker for a large, sunny, well-drained border.
