Juniperus osteosperma, the Utah juniper or desert juniper, is a small to medium-sized, gnarled, rounded evergreen tree from the arid interior of western North America producing dense, scale-like, yellow-green to grey-green foliage and copper-coloured, mealy fruits. A drought-tolerant and ornamental juniper for a sunny, very well-drained garden.
