Jasminum beesianum, the red jasmine, is a woody, twining climber with dark, dull-green, ovate leaves and cymes of small, red, salverform, scented flowers from early summer. One of the few red-flowered jasmines, valued for its unusual colouring and neat habit. May be deciduous in cooler areas.
