About
A tender, dwarf, upright deciduous tree with green, pinnate leaves which are divided into hairy leaflets. May be semi-evergreen in warmer climates. These are followed by brown, woody seed pods in the autumn. Trumpet-shaped panicles of violet-blue flowers emerge before the leaves in late spring to early summer.
