About
Lucky Devil' is a vigorous, spreading, sturdy plant, with erect green foliage to 106cm tall. Flower stems are erect, straight, to 140cm, usually with 3 medium-large flowers held well above the leaves. Standards are cupped, erect, velvety, violet with violet veining. Falls are circular, flaring, with slightly creped margins, violet blue becoming darker violet then yellow with violet veins towards the base, with a yellow-grey signal.

Iris may be rhizomatous or bulbous perennials, with narrow leaves and erect stems bearing flowers with 3 large spreading or pendent fall petals, alternating with 3 erect, often smaller, standard petals, in late winter, spring or early summer
