About
Vigorous small evergreen tree or shrub, about 12m tall, with almost entire, spiny leaves to 10cm in length, dark green with pale green and grey mottling, and edged with a creamy-white or creamy-yellow irregular margin. Flowers small, white; berries red, sparsely produced.

Care notes
CultivationGrow in moist but well-drained soil in full sun or part shade. Although partial shade is suitable, variegated cultivars have better leaf colour in full sun
