About
Vigorous conical evergreen shrub or small tree to 6m tall, with green stems when young, and mid-green, variably spiny, narrowly ovate leaves. Self-fertile, so the small white late spring flowers are followed by freely-produced bright yellow fruits, without the need for a pollinating partner.
