About
Bushy, dense, evergreen shrub with prickly, leathery and glossy golden yellow foliage with dark green margins. Reaching a height of up to 3m, this variety is suitable for hedging, but also makes an attractive specimen plant. After the small white spring flowers, the female cultivar produces bright red berries in autumn if a pollinator is nearby.

CultivationEasy to grow in well-drained soil in a sunny position. Although partial shade is suitable, variegated cultivars have better leaf colour in full sun
