About
This elegant evergreen tree with a weeping habit, to a height of 3m, with dark purple stems and spiny dark green glossy leaves margined with yellow. Clusters of white flowers appear in spring and early summer, followed by red fruit if there is a male nearby for pollination.

CultivationGrow in moist but well-drained soil in full sun. Although partial shade is suitable, variegated cultivars have better leaf colour in full sun
