About
This compact, deciduous shrub, to 1m high and wide, with ovate, pointed and serrated green leaves that are tinged with orange in the autumn. The open flowerheads, borne from summer into autumn, are characterised by double lavender-lilac or pink, narrow-sepalled sterile flowers carried on long stalks surrounding the fertile florets.
