About
This deciduous shrub to 1.2m high with broadly oval, toothed green leaves. Dome-shaped clusters of strongly coloured flowers, from crimson red to deep purple, are produced from mid summer into early autumn; flowers emerge pale green and colour develops from the margins to the centre as the flowers mature. Flower colours may vary depending on the pH of the soil.
