A compact, epiphytic orchid from montane forests in Indonesia (Masarang Mountains, Sulawesi) with short, cylindrical pseudobulbs bearing pairs of narrow, dark green leaves and small, pendant, greenish-cream flowers with a delicate lip. A specialist orchid for a warm, humid, intermediate glasshouse.

Humata includes herbaceous and sometimes woody species grown for their ornamental merit. The genus is represented in gardens by selected species and cultivars suited to a range of growing conditions
