Care notes
CultivationPrefers to grow in full sun or dappled shade in fertile, moist, well drained soil. In heavy clay or sandy soil add plenty of well rotted manure and use peat-free, loam-based compost for containers. Cut back dying leaves in mid spring or autumn and mulch with well rotted manure applied around the base of the plant. See hosta cultivation for further advice
