About

Vigorous, evergreen, twining climber about 5m tall, with dark green papery leaves composed of 3 leaflets to 12cm long with inrolled margins. Scented flowers, the male flowers white tinged purple, smaller than the white female flowers, are produced in late spring and sometimes followed by edible sausage-shaped fruits.
