About
A clump-forming, evergreen perennial to about 30cm high, with lobed, deep purple leaves with a silver sheen on the upper surface, and dark purple veining. Loose sprays of small cream flowers appear from late spring to mid-summer.

Care notes
CultivationGrow in a fertile, neutral soil in sun or partial shade, and ensure good drainage, especially in heavy soils. The woody rootstock tends to lift out of the ground over time, so mulch annually or lift and replant every few years
