About
A compact, clump-forming perennial, to about 15cm high, forming a mound of lobed leaves that are lime green when young, and mature to dark green with a silver sheen on the upper surface. Loose sprays of small pink flowers appear on short stems above the foliage in spring and summer.

Care notes
CultivationGrow in a fertile, neutral soil in light or partial shade, and ensure good drainage, especially in heavy soils. The woody rootstock tends to lift out of the ground over time, so mulch annually to retain moisture. Divide and replant every 3-4 years to maintain vigour
