About
A collection of clump-forming perennials to about 35cm high, forming dense mounds of lobed green leaves. Selected for their flowers rather than their foliage, these plants produce dense, upright sprays of red, pink or occasionally white flowers, on slender stems above the foliage from spring into summer.

Care notes
CultivationGrow in a fertile, neutral soil in sun or light shade, and ensure good drainage, especially in heavy soils. The woody rootstock tends to lift out of the ground over time, so mulch annually to retain moisture. Divide and replant every 3-4 years to maintain vigour
