About
A clump-forming, semi-evergreen perennial with a height and spread of 40-45cm, forming a rounded mound of lobed leaves, opening burgundy red in spring and changing to a delicious caramel as the season progresses. Hints of burgundy will return in autumn. Too much sun will result in greener leaves, so keep this sweet treat in a shady spot. Sprays of small white flowers are held on slender stems above the foliage in summer.

Care notes
CultivationGrow in a fertile, moist but well-drained, neutral soil in sun or partial shade. The woody rootstock tends to lift out of the ground so mulch annually or lift and replant ensuring the crown is not buried. See Heuchera cultivation for more detailed advice
