About

A robust, clump-forming, short-lived perennial to about 1.5m tall from northern and central Europe and western Siberia with very large, pinnate, hairy leaves and broad, flat-topped umbels of small, white flowers in summer. A bold and statuesque background plant for a large, moist border or wild garden, differing from typical H. sphondylium by its narrower leaf segments.
