About
Green-brown flowers are produced in branched sprays in late summer, followed by purple-black berries in winter. Can make a single-stemmed, small tree, or a multi-stemmed shrub. The glossy, dark, evergreen leaves have up to 11 narrow, pointed leaflets arranged like the spokes of a wheel, on long, dark red stalks. Young foliage is covered in silvery hairs.
