Riverton Gem' is an upright herbaceous perennial up to 1.2m high with green leaves and flowerheads 5-7cm across with deep burnt orange-crimson, yellow-streaked ray-florets and brown disc-florets, in late summer and early autumn; the flowers provide pollen for bees and nectar for bees and other insects.
