About
Hatiora rosea, the Easter cactus, is a shrubby, erect then pendent cactus producing jointed stems with flat, oblong, scalloped segments to 4 cm long. In early spring, funnel-shaped, bright-pink flowers to 4 cm long are produced from the ends of the stems. A charming and easy-care cactus for a bright, frost-free windowsill or greenhouse.
About the genus
Hatiora are branching cacti with segmented, erect or arching, flattened stems and funnel-shaped flowers arising from the tips of the stem segments, mainly in spring. Grown as houseplants and conservatory plants.

Care notes
CultivationGrow in cactus compost in bright filtered or indirect light with high humidity. When in growth, water moderately, mist daily with soft water, and apply a half-strength, low-nitrogen liquid fertiliser monthly. Keep just moist in winter until flowerbuds develop, then increase water slightly
