Griselinia littoralis, the New Zealand broadleaf, is a fast-growing, large evergreen shrub to 8 m with light-green, broadly oval, glossy leaves. Very small, yellow-green flowers are produced in spring, followed by purple fruits on female plants. Excellent for hedging and screening in coastal and milder gardens.
