About
Glaucidium palmatum, the palmate glaucidium, is a rhizomatous perennial to 45 cm with broad, deeply lobed, light-green leaves to 20 cm wide and solitary, terminal, poppy-like, pale-lavender flowers 6�8 cm across in late spring. One of the most beautiful and distinctive woodland perennials from Japan, and a superb plant for a moist, partly shaded border.
