A stately gladiolus, with erect, fan-shaped foliage and strong, unbranched flower spikes. An imposing raceme of broad-petalled, ruffled flowers unfurls from bottom to top in midsummer. 'Sansonnet' makes a bold statement in borders.

PropagationSeparate cormlets when lifting in autumn. Grow on for 2-3 years to flowering size.
Pest resistanceThrips can damage flowers and foliage. Western flower thrips especially troublesome.
