About
This deciduous, columnar tree with a narrow crown to around 15m tall. Small,catkin-like, greenish-yellow male flowers open in spring. Flat, fan-shaped leaves to around 7cm wide are borne on semi-erect branches and turn a golden yellow in autumn.
