About

A clump-forming perennial, to around 45cm high in flower, forming a mound of deeply lobed, wrinkled green leaves with toothed edges. Double, red flowers with ruffled petals are borne on slender stems above the foliage, for a long period from late spring into summer.

Care notes

CultivationThrives in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun; will tolerate light shade but flowering is better in sun. Avoid areas that are waterlogged over winter. Divide every three years or so to maintain vigour
