About

This clump-forming rhizomatous perennial to around 60cm high, with basal rosettes of hairy, pinnate leaves. Semi-double scarlet flowers are held, singly or in groups of two or three, on stems well above the foliage from early to late summer.

CultivationGrow in fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun. Avoid areas that are waterlogged over winter. Divide every three years or so to maintain vigour
