About

Geum 'Georgenberg' is a clump-forming, herbaceous perennial to 25 cm with basal rosettes of lobed leaves. Orange-yellow, single flowers up to 4 cm across are produced on arching stems from late spring to midsummer. A neat and reliable front-of-border avens for a sunny position.

About the genus

Geum, the avens, are rhizomatous perennials, occasionally spreading by stolons, with a basal rosette of pinnately lobed leaves and saucer-shaped flowers in loose clusters on upright or arching stems, mainly in spring and summer, in shades of yellow, orange, red and white.
