About

Soft, semi-double upward-facing, nodding orange to yellow flowers are held on stems above the foliage from late spring to late summer. A low-growing, clump-forming rhizomatous perennial to around 30cm high, with basal rosettes of lobed and toothed green leaves. Ideal for the front of a flower border. The name means 'Evening Sun' in German.

Care notes

CultivationGrow in fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or part shade. Avoid areas that are waterlogged over winter. Divide every three years or so to maintain vigour
