A low-growing, mat-forming annual from rocky habitats in Central Asia with small, narrow, mid-green leaves and small, tubular, pale yellow-white flowers in summer. A little-known specialist alpine subject, related to Gentiana, for a cool, well-drained trough or alpine house.
