Jason Bloom' is an upright clump-forming herbaceous perennial, up to 1.2m high, with deciduous, seven-lobed, mid-green leaves, and large, shallowly bowl-shaped flowers, 5-6cm across, of deep magenta-pink petals with black centres and veins, from early to late summer.
