Julie's Velvet' is a rhizomatous herbaceous perennial, 30-45cm high, with deciduous, lobed, glossy, vivid green leaves, and funnel-shaped flowers with notched tips, the petals of rich purple, paler at the centres and edges, and with darker pink veins, from early summer to early autumn.
