Flowering stems, which are pendulous, emerge from the nodes or the base of new mature growth after the dormancy period. Each stem can produce up to three blooms simultaneously, with a total of 12 to 18 waxy, fragrant flowers that are known for their longevity. Noteworthy cultivars include 'SVO Black Pearl' and 'Anja,' both featuring very dark, nearly black flowers, as well as 'Sunset Valley Orchids,' characterized by yellow flowers heavily marked with dark red spots.
