A large, evergreen tree from Tasmania (white peppermint gum) to about 20m tall with smooth, white to cream, streaked bark and narrow, lance-shaped, pale green, peppermint-scented adult leaves. White flowers open in spring in clusters. A graceful and ornamental peppermint gum for a sheltered, mild, cool garden.
