A magnificent, large Himalayan silver fir to about 40�60m tall from the western Himalaya, with long, drooping, dark green leaves with two distinctive white bands beneath, borne on pendulous branchlets, and large, erect, cylindrical cones. A noble specimen conifer for a large, sheltered garden in deep, moist, fertile soil.
