Fritillaria involucrata, the involucrate fritillary, is a small bulbous perennial from the Alps and Maritime Alps producing the characteristic nodding, bell-shaped, greenish-white flowers of the genus, surrounded by leaf-like bracts (involucre), in spring. A charming and ornamental fritillary for a well-drained, partly shaded rock garden.
