About

A dwarf, prostrate, evergreen shrub to about 30cm tall from rocky, stony habitats in the Balkans and Apennines with small, rounded, dark green, silky-hairy leaves and erect stems bearing short, dense racemes of small, bright yellow, pea-like flowers in late spring and early summer. A choice, compact broom for a sunny, very well-drained rock garden.
