A low-growing, spreading perennial to about 15�30cm tall from rocky, dry habitats of the Mediterranean and Middle East, with erect, white-bristly-hairy stems, narrow, elliptic, grey-white hairy leaves and drooping, tubular, pale yellow or white flowers in short, one-sided racemes in summer. A charming and distinctive plant for a sunny, dry, sharply-drained rock garden or raised bed.
