About
A large, slow-growing, clump-forming, non-invasive evergreen bamboo with an arching habit and young stems that are covered in a red and purple hairy sheath which peel off as they mature. Great for pots and containers too. Large glossy green foliage provides an ideal screen and jungle-style feel. Young leaf shoots keep their red/purple colouring for the first year or two.
